Stepping Into Season 20: A New Chapter

Season 20.
A milestone that feels both unreal and inevitable.

As we step into our twentieth year, it’s impossible not to look back at everything that’s shaped Vibestreet - the good, the hard, the beautiful, the messy, the things we’ve loved, the things we haven’t, the systems that worked, the ones that absolutely didn’t and the countless industry and world changes we’ve had to navigate. Every year has taught us something. Every phase has built us.

And now, we’re using this milestone to open a brand-new chapter.

Vibestreet has always been about doing things differently. It’s in our DNA. We’ve never followed the “usual studio formula,” and stepping into Season 20 is our chance to evaluate everything with fresh eyes. Old systems, outdated policies, habits we outgrew, routines we held onto simply because they were familiar - all of it is on the table. We’re holding every piece of our studio up against the current landscape of business, dance, and community to figure out what actually belongs in our future.

For the first decade, it was pure hustle.
Grind, eat, sleep, breathe the studio.
And I loved it.

The second decade was about letting go - stepping back to 100% focus on growing a family and trusting the studio to cruise on its own. There were years where Vibestreet was in full survival mode - I just couldn’t be there in the way I once was, and I had to let things happen without constantly steering the ship. Thankfully, it continued to sustain itself and grow, I knew the “auto-pilot” era had to be temporary. Now, after spending a good portion of the last decade focused on family, I’m stepping back in fully. And it feels different, in the best way.

Over the last six months, we have been rebuilding from the inside out. We’ve brought in new team members who have elevated our studio in ways I never could’ve imagined. We’ve also released people and practices that no longer aligned - pieces of our past that couldn’t move with us into the future. It was necessary. It was freeing. And it has opened the door for a stronger, more aligned studio than ever before.

We tore up the foundation of our systems, processes, and programs and rebuilt everything from the ground up. Again. It has been a massive learning curve, but we finally feel like we’re on top of it and for the first time in a long time, I feel like I can breathe.

Season 20 isn’t just another year.
It’s Vibestreet 2.0.

To everyone who has been part of this journey - whether you’ve been with us for one season or twenty, thank you. Thank you for riding out our highs and lows, thank you for giving us grace when we were figuring things out, and thank you for supporting a studio whose mission has always come straight from the heart.

Here’s to what we’ve built.
Here’s to what we’ve learned.
And here’s to the next chapter - stronger, clearer, bolder, and more “Vibestreet” than ever.
